When you live in LA you take advantage of local landmarks when planning a blog shoot. Nothing about 100 degree weather in a tight skirt posing on Sunset blvd is natural, but to get a cool shot with the Sunset Pacific Motel aka Bates Motel you do it.

From movies to the all-white repainting of this art piece now called Projection by French artist, Vincent Lamouroux.

The Bates hotel has become a historical spot situated at the corner of Bates and Sunset blvd for anyone to visit. I’m really into art and architecture so I chose to shoot at this motel to share some of my favorite Los Angeles culture with you. I typically try to focus on clothing product placement, but when you have a backdrop with white palm trees you feature the talented artists and fashion designers who complimented one other to get this look.

For me there’s nothing better than an art-fashion duo.
