Classic has always been in style. Though I’m not one to follow trends, there’s an essence about black and white. The bnw combo is pure sophistication that works for any season. Combined separately or monochromatic, these two shades compliment everyone and each other.
When Shabby Apple reached out to me to be one of their brand ambassadors I was thoroughly excited. Its not everyday you get to surf an entire collection online and choose which articles you want to be gifted to you. They are known for effortless bohemian dresses, playful prints and swimwear so this dress was the unlikely choice, but I couldn’t resist. I love the mod sixties vibe this “Pinwheel Sheath Dress” embodies. It has a fresh style that is one part modern the other part retro. Very british and just my style. Mod was very innovative in its time: bold, brash yet refined. All of which I am attracted to in clothing.
When I tried the dress on it didn’t exactly work with the flats I had originally anticipated wearing, but I actually like these open-toed stilettos more. The long-sleeved, longer hem accents of this dress gave these heels a little imagination creating the perfect balance of elegance and sex appeal.
Thanks for the love Shabby Apple! Your clothing is divine. xoxox
