What inspired your Airbnb/VRBO?
You know the feeling when you’re on vacation with people you love, and you wake up to a beautiful new place and you feel this inner-peace because you don’t have to worry about work or other responsibilities for a moment? This is the feeling that inspired Casa Scottsdale.
In your opinion, what is the best feature in your rental?
The most popular feature among guests is definitely the backyard! I also think this is the best feature because my aim for the backyard was for it to feel like an extension of the indoor living area. A place you actually want to spend your time at, anytime of year, just like you would in the living room.
Where does your interior design inspiration come from?
I’m inspired by spaces that I’ve traveled to which have caused me to feel at peace and I believe nothing calms humans like simplicity and nature and these elements can be seen throughout Casa Scottsdale. However, my biggest inspiration comes from those closest to me. There’s a proverb that says, “there is success through many advisers” so my mom, my family, best friends, my pets, and especially my dad have all been inspirations for me in creating this aesthetic yet functional design that has been thought-out for everyone to enjoy.
How has your experience as a host been?
It’s been very rewarding, I absolutely love being a host! Though there’s been a small number of less than great experiences, the positive definitely outweighs any negative and most guests treat my home as if it were their own.
Can you describe the type of experience your rental provides guests?
From the moment I decided to start Casa Scottsdale, my entire purpose was for my guests to have a resort-like experience all while being at a home. I wanted this to reflect in guest service, cleanliness, amenities and atmosphere. This is why as soon as a guest books at Casa Scottsdale, I immediately communicate with them and provide a personalized digital guidebook to start the excitement for their trip. Upon arrival, guests are guaranteed to find a high quality vacation rental. I don’t ever brag but my cleaning service deserves to be bragged about since I believe to have the best cleaner in the area. Her craft is so pristine that every guest who walks in feels like they’re the first guest to step foot in Casa Scottsdale. Aside from a pristine home, all the essentials and many extras needed for a comfortable stay are provided. Should anything additional be needed during a guest’s stay, even groceries, Casa Scottsdale offers free same-day delivery whenever possible! Guest service is available 24/7 for each stay.
What inspired you to host in Scottsdale, AZ opposed to other locations?
I wish I had more of an inspiring answer but to be very honest, I was not looking to host in Scottsdale. It was not even in my plans to be a host. The only thing I knew for certain was that I was looking for a great deal and I never thought I would find it in Scottsdale. However, once I found my house, it wasn’t until I had started the process of renovating it that I saw the potential it would have as a vacation rental and here we are now!
Is there a best time of the year to visit your rental?
The best time of year really depends on what type of experience a guest wants. Scottsdale and the surrounding areas is privileged to have great weather year round! Winter is the busiest time of year and draws those looking to escape their local freezing temperatures. Spring is the second most busiest time of the year, attracting crowds with an interest in events of all sorts! From spring training baseball games to festivals and endless outdoor activities. Summer is for the travelers who like the “dry heat” and are looking to stay at Casa Scottsdale for the best rates of the year! Last but not least, the best time to visit, Fall. It’s the perfect weather for hiking, lounging by the pool, and patio dining. Fall is the season with weather most similar to spring but with fewer crowds and events. Since it’s my favorite time of year, Casa Scottsdale also offers special deals from September to mid-November.
