Stuck in a no color zone this season? If you are like me more than half of your closest consists of earth tones and mostly black and whites. Every fall I try to dabble in color (mostly with accessories) so when December rolls around I can throw bright reds and green into my mix. No matter how proactive I am, color is not my forte: I find myself privy to black and white ALWAYS. This season I opted for different textures to add a little something more to my nuetral palette. Combining cotton, rayon, satin and leather together gave my outfit more dimension and versatility. The shorts say summer but the leather says anytime. The different textures also add a chic factor. The real challenge for me in the upcoming seasons is to wear color, but with winter just around the corner I’m inspired to incorporate wool, fur and lots of leather into my wardrobe. Cheers to 2015 where I’m hopeful color finds a place in my closet too.
