When you live in one of the most sought after cities in the world your options for food are endless. From favorite neighborhood restaurants to the hottest grand openings, people are always on the hunt for new places to socialize over delicious meals. Fig & Olive, a favorite of many foodies on both the West and the East coast never disappoints, so it was time I shared my love for this restaurant with all of you.
The West Coast flagship is located on the ever so trendy Melrose Place in West Hollywood. This fine dining establishment requires a reservation most evenings. Walk-ins are welcome so you may get lucky if you are visiting for lunch or an early dinner, but if you are a planner I suggest calling in to make a reservation, or booking via OpenTable.com.
I’ve dinned at Fig & Olive for both lunch and dinner and their food on both menu’s is superb. I’m a big seafood lover and their shrimp and salmon salad is unbelievably tasty! I also enjoyed the rosemary lamb chops, truffle risotto and the sea scallop appetizer: I hardly think you can go wrong with any of the dishes on the menu however. Lets not forget cocktails: the cucumber cosmo is a must!
Whether you live in LA or are just visiting and need a trendy place that’s perfect for photo worthy IG pictures, and delicious enough to brag about to your friends, Fig & Olive is definitely your place!
While you are in the area drop by Alfred Tea Room for a matcha or boba afterward to enjoy a little caffeine buzz and cruise the shops for some retail therapy.
