[dropcap]I[/dropcap] have a real treat for you this week! After taking a mini-hiatus I am excited to introduce our “Man of the Week,” Kelly Frydman. After a recent move to LA from NYC, this Paris native has set his sights on the Hollywood music and entertainment scene. A musician for many years, Kelly is dipping his feet into production to work behind the camera: Hard to imagine with his gorgeous European looks.
With a history of fashion in the family (Hello, Carolin Frydman Jewelry!) it’s no wonder this 6’4″, blue-eyed charmer steals the spotlight with his @mancrushweek style. Kelly’s French, German and Moroccan multicultural heritage explains his impressive trilingual resume. But that’s not all, our #MCM has an MA in Finance and International Economics with a BA in Business and Film from Brandeis University. His versatile list of accolades and experience working in technology, luxury lifestyle publishing, fashion pr and film and contemporary art have paved the way for this jack of all trades.
Kelly has set the bar for achievements, but he still makes time to enjoy his favorite extra curricular activities: Songwriting, dancing, soccer and skiing while accomplishing his business goals. By the looks of his passport (Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hawaii, Turkey, Italy, Prague – the list goes on…) this business savvy jet-setter isn’t slowing down anytime soon. We are in for a wild ride following him on social media while he settles into LA!

Moving from New York to LA in February was definitely a very exciting moment. Discovering the diversity and incredible options this city has to offer has made the past few months extremely exciting for me. I feel good here and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
I would say that my fashion must would be a white or black v or crew neck t shirt with a black, grey or navy blue suit jacket. I also love wearing some short pants with some comfortable sneakers and a comfortable shirt or t shirt. I always throw in a silver bracelet or one of my mother’s creations for men (Carolin Frydman Jewelry). The important thing is to feel comfortable while still being elegant.
Music has a very important part in my life and I listen to all types of music daily from Rnb, soul, blues to jazz or hip hop. If I had to pick one song that I listen a lot to these days I would say “Inner City Blues” from Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” album. As far as artists of the moment I would say “Try Me” by The Weeknd.
Don’t go on dating apps, go out there and meet people organically. If you are attracted to someone and want to know them better but don’t dare to talk to them out of fear of rejection, don’t! You might regret it!
I want to pilot a plane and do some real life rock climbing one day.
I love when girls wear reformation dresses or long skirts with assorted tops. I always had a preference for girls with a French or Italian sense of style. I never was a fan of flashy colors and I enjoy a sexy dress but something that is not overly exposing at the same time. I believe that there is a thin line between sexy elegance and vulgarity.
Music. One day without music feels different. It affects us in a way that we cannot fully explain. It is a vital element of my every day life.
Traveling in south East Asia to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. Incredible and diverse countries, and the food and fruits are to die for!
At the ring of midnight on New Year’s Day in Switzerland last year I had to fight off a fire that was growing towards a wooden house I was staying at. Had me and the other men at the party not intervened, the fire would have caught up to the house. I will never forget that New Years moment.
I think for girls, Emily Rajtakowski, Hailey Baldwin and Kendall Jenner all have incredible style. As far as men goes, there is an Italian blogger name Riccardo Pozzoli who has tremendous style. His fiancée Gabrielle Caunesil also has great style and they are a very cute couple to say the least.
I am looking forward to going to a friends wedding in Marbella Spain at the end of August and to be in Paris for the birth of my brothers child, I can’t believe I’m going to be an uncle.
