Today is “Women Crush Wednesday” and you know what that means. All you babes out there someone has a crush on you, and I have an exclusive interview with my #WCW TV Host, Kelly Rizzo. As the first “Woman of the Week” to ever be featured on the blog I am thrilled to share this charming TV personality who works as a food, travel and music aficionado on Eat Travel Rock. The long overdue announcement of this new addition to the blog may be late, but I aimed straight for the top to get the best and got down to the core of this Chicago native. Its obvious a talented bombshell like Kelly has no problem landing a hot travel show and Florida Georgia Line music video, but Kelly is more than just a pretty face. This “it” girl is your first look into behind the scenes of some of the worlds most exclusive restaurants, underground music and coolest cities. You’ve dreamed of it, she’s done it. Just ask Kelly!
Kelly’s travel blog, brand, and show have become successful across the globe. You would hardly believe this badass jet-setter who’s show filmed in both Japan and Switzerland this year once worked as a full-time real estate professional. If you’ve caught a glimpse of Kelly on TV then you know she was made for the camera. Though her show’s episodes are geared towards a tell all guide of your “in the know” things to eat, see and listen to in various cities and countries around the world, it’s Kelly’s charisma and expertise that steal the show. This blogger and TV personality took a passion project and turned it into a profitable show that has become a hit sensation. Kudos, she’s living the dream!
Kelly has earned a notable 31.3K followers on Instagram, 4100+ on Twitter, 1100+ Facebook fans and 1700+ subscribers via YouTube. Hello social media status! Though her blog and TV Hosting is where the real traffic comes from, her social media is always current with the latest who’s who’s in the entertainment and music industry. From Bob Saget, Chelsea Handler, Dave Grohl and John Mayer, Kelly’s candid photos give you a little insight into her day-to-day and professional life. Though her growing popularity and fame may seem like an overnight success, Kelly has been hard at work since 2011. With a brand of successful endeavors Kelly climbed the ropes of media and print gaining recognition from TimeOut New York, Good Day Chicago, VH1 Big Morning Buzz, FABlife, The Weekly Show, Racked Chicago and NS Magazine to name a few.
Through all of the glitz and glamour Kelly is exposed to daily she continues to maintain her down to earth humble demanor. Her positive attitude and embrace for challenge are a few of the many reasons I believe she is on her way to her biggest achievements yet. Move over Diners, Drive-ins and Dives we want more Eat Travel Rock!
If you haven’t already escaped to Eat Travel Rock head over to the website and submerge yourself in food, travel and music to inspire your next vacation and next Eat Travel Rock video! Trust me, it’s so good you can’t watch just one episode.
1. Any major highlights this year?
Taking my show, Eat Travel Rock TV, International and filming in Japan and Switzerland. It was so surreal as I’ve wanted to go to both of those countries for as long as I can remember. So being able to actually film there, was a dream come true. I was blown away by the beauty of the land and the culture of both countries, absolutely magical in every way.
2. What is your go-to fashion must have?
My Frye Boots or Rag and Bone Booties and Rails LA flannels/denim shirts. I love being casual with an edge and I love versatile pieces & outfits that can transition from running around during the day to a nice dinner. These pieces do it all.

Anything by Chris Stapleton. True authentic artist and the nicest guy ever.

7. Name one thing you can’t live without?
Easiest question ever: My friends and family. Hands down.
8. What is your fondest travel memory?
Last summer, visiting my family in my dad’s home town of Ciminna, Sicily. It was a trip I had waited my entire life for and I finally got to see where my dad was born and grew up, and meet so many of my family members I had never met before. It was like stepping back in time 100 years or being in the Godfather as Ciminna is practically untouched by modern times. It was the most fulfilling travel experience I’ve ever had.
9. What is the craziest thing that’s ever happened to you?
Completely changing my career from a full time Real Estate Professional to TV Host/ Food, Music, and Travel Blogger/Personality…. I was unhappy with where my life was going and I literally decided one day to change it all and follow my dream and my passion of being able to share what I love with the world.
10. Who’s the most stylish person on the planet for you right now
I would have to say my friend Shai Chung, @drunkonshoes she expresses everything in fashion I WISH I could. She’s a rocker chick one day, and a sophisticate the next. She does it all flawlessly. I’ve never seen anyone who has the creativity she has and her ability to put an outfit together is incredible. Love her!!

I’m going to Vancouver in 2 weeks and I’m so excited because I’ve never been to Western Canada and I’m so excited for all of the oysters I’ll be eating.
