WOW, what a year! 2013 came and went in what felt like a blink of an eye. If you follow me on Instagram then you may already know I boarded a flight from Austin, TX to NYC to ring in the new year in my second home for New Years Eve. It was the perfect beginning to 2014 celebrating in my favorite city! New Years itself was a success. I made it to the city (after a 2 hr delayed flight) with enough time to catchup with friends venturing from the Upper West Side to the Lower East Side. That’s the thing I love about Manhattan, everything is a hop, skip and a jump away. While back I did my routine Christmas sightseeing snapping inspiration pictures of my favorite holiday window display at Bergdorf Goodman. That of course was followed by the traditional Rockefeller tour and pictures with the lit tree. From 5th Ave to Chanel, Gucci and Tiffany’s the buildings were designed to look like christmas packages; very festive with the prettiest presentation of lights. LOVE it! After devouring many great meals and bar hoping through the West Village and Soho I got caught in the first snowstorm of the year. Most people ran for cover, but I took the time to enjoy it. Because I spend the longer part of the year in LA I embrace winter wonderlands when I can get them.
