One of my favorite cities in the world is NYC. The appeal of this metropolitan city stems from its architectural charm and 24 hour all access pass. With the hustle and bustle of sophisticated lifestyles in this city its hard not to share a love affair no matter where you call home.
Since moving back to LA 7 years ago I’m back and forth from LA to NYC often so it truly feels like a second home. Over New Years my husband and I decided to take a trip to NYC and enjoy some sightseeing, great food and fashion. My favorite thing about New York City is the fashion. I’ve always felt my inner fashionista was best suited for NYC. Edgy with a side of elegance. Plus, in a city full of international diversity comes a lot of inspiration and some of the best people watching in the world.

Of course my trip wouldn’t have been complete without doing a little retail damage so I did what anyone would do and splurged. True to New York form I bought black clothing, winter layers, heels, dark lipstick, no fuss hair products, leather pants, blazers and a trench coat. I’m officially ready for winter.
