[dropcap]I[/dropcap] am not a vegetarian! Occasionally I wish I were because it would make dining with most of my friends easier but I love steak. In a city obsessed with food culture I am no stranger to good food. I’ll say it, I’m a foodie and avid Yelp user. I’ll try any new restaurant that comes highly recommended at least once.
When I heard about The Butchers Daughter (NYC and Los Angeles) I had to check it out to see what the hype was. In LA you can almost guarantee all vegan, organic, raw and vegetarian restaurants are trends and places to find the newest diet or health food fad. Not to discount the ever changing “is it or isn’t it” good for you foods, but at the end of the meal I just want to know: Was it delicious, worth the money and did I enjoy the ambiance.
Kudos #TBD because I give you a solid 5 stars! This place makes me want to become a vegetarian and dine here everyday. As far as recommendations, I honestly do not have a favorite. I have been here so many times I have tried everything. I do keep coming back for the Jumbo Lump ‘Crab’ Cakes evening starter/small plate though. #MUST
