A few months ago I noticed I was stuck in a workout rut. Over a decade of running and lifting weights and my workout routine had become redundant. I was moving through the motions of my exercises and no longer pushing myself to achieve maximum results. When I realized I had become comfortable with my one hour commitment to the gym I decided it was time for a change.
The first step was the dreadful hunt to find a new workout regime. The only two requirements I had was to find a class with a dedicated following so I was guaranteed results, but not so many students per class that I felt like I would be overlooked. The second was to find a class close to my house so I wouldn’t make excuses not to attend. I have always loved pilates but was torn if I wanted to pay for another monthly membership.
